Xelerated Names Gary Lidington as VP of Marketing

BURLINGTON, Mass. -- Xelerated, a provider of high-speed network processors, said it has appointed Gary Lidington vice president of marketing and moved company headquarters from Stockholm to Burlington, Mass.

Mr. Lidington previously served as vice president of business development at C-Port, which was acquired by Motorola in 2000. He has also held management positions at Shiva Corp. and Digital Equipment Corp.

The company is backed by Atlas Venture, Alta Partners, and Startupfactory.
